First day in New Quay and the weather is gorgeous. I couldn't be bothered to get my camera out so I took this picture off of the Internet. None of the pictures on google really captured the charm of this tiny seaside town, so I will obviously have to get some more later. Our house has an ocean view and the cliffs the make up the bay are green and stunning, I can't wait to go exploring!
Daphna, our leader, did some talks with us today about the wildlife of Cardigan Bay(
which is actually 100 km across!) and data taking protocols. It is supposed to rain this week so she tried to get us out on one of the dolphin watching boats since the weather was good today, but no such luck because their weren't enough paying customers. We aren't supposed to go out on a boat until after we have learned about all the equipment anyways, so we will just have to be patient I guess!
Patients isnt you!! Especially when its with dolphins!! Well the weather isnt really better back home either lol.
