This day was not too event full! I was left to my own devices as Helen had to work, so I had a lazy day. It was sunny and warm so I walked along the cliff tops to the Whitley Bay Lighthouse. I saw some birds along the way including cormorants, a Bonaparte gull, and starlings(which are quite well like hered!). It was very nice and lots of people were enjoying the good weather. It's still school holidays for the kids so lots of families out an about. In the evening a bunch of Helen's friends came over to say good bye to her(Helen is leaving for 'whale camp' in New Brunswick the same day I am heading down to Wales). We had another fun evening together!
